Look up as many of Bryce Browns Posts about the Se and read, read, read, you can have a nice heads up on operation.

Bryce is one of " IF NOT " the premier user of the Se Series Minelabs. Bryce also understands all the other Minelab Multi frequency detectors too.

He has shared his knowledge with all who asks, willingly, and without reservations............

David, among many other threads, two of my favorites are these from which I learned a great deal about depth and what the SE was telling me. I think both of them have at least two pages of replies. If you will take the time to read both of these threads in their entirety, maybe they will help you as much as they did me.

HH, Don......

but don't get in a hurry to "master" it because it does have a learning curve. You can cut that curve a bunch though just by leaving it in the stock settings until you get used to it.

Hey Daugbiscuit and Lfarthing2-thanks I appreciate it
I can tell you right now that I will hunt in the factory mode until I at least know something. I would just get messed up trying to fool with the programs right away.
Now I want to get a shovel and leaning towards the AP LESCHE SHOVEL 26" or the GROUND SHARK 28" T HANDLE.
anyway I can't wait to get the new detector

You also might want to download the Explorer SE emulator. It gave me a good idea how the different fuctions on the Explorer worked and it also helped me navigate through the screens on my real Explorer.

the Se Pro came today.
I charged up the battery and put it together and took it into the back yard for a test.
tomorrow morning I will try it out at the canal park.
Just use smartfind and dig only those on the right upper side unless is is lower and I switch to digital and it gives me good numbers

Hello Bryce, Cliff Holmes here, I got my Explorer SE in April of this year and was going to have some one in Belgrade, Mt help me with it.. He said he wouldbut at the last minute he pulled out and said he didn't have time. I was angry about it and haven't done anything with it since. I was wondering if you could help me with some basic settings so I can start practicing with it.. It sounds very much like R2D2 when turned on and I have to get used to the sound, but need some help please.. Thank You, if you decide to help and Thank you for taking the time to read this.. Cliff
