That I really like this XTERRA 705 I purchased
In my opinion the depth you get with it is quite a bit deeper than the ATP
And the discremination is way better as well as the pin point feature
I'm not saying the ATP is not a good machine because it is the ATP is
Pretty much a turn on and
round balance and go machine where as the 705 you have to do a little more adjustments
Went over some of my yard area with the 705 that I had already went over with the ATP wasn't hearing to many sounds with the ATP once I had finished the area but when I went over 5he same area with the 705 I stated hearing more targets that were deeper
In my opinion the two machines actually complement each other because you can go over an area with the ATP AND CLEAN OUT the shallower targets down to about 8 inches ++ and then go over it again and get the deeper targets with the 705 I think they are both excellent detectors
Rite now I am using the 6 inch DD 18.75 kHz and like it alot the ATP I used the standard coil
