Got myself a tumbler from harbor freight over the long weekend now I can start cleaning all my clad coins and penny's what works best? I have about 200.00 in clad coins alone.

With 200 dollars in coins you have lots of material to practise upon.
Aquarium gravel seems to work well, I get a sand type material at work that scrubs the dirt off fairly well.
Lots of posts in the archives of this site to answer your question so give the older posts a look and try to find a medium that is convenient for your situation.
Load up on spare belts ahead of time too.

You have lots of choices on medium and I use fine sand. (Filter sand because I had a bag left over from the pool days) I grab a closed handful of sand add a couple drops of detergent and cover the coins with water and tumble. I don't go over 2/3 of a barrel full and let the silver colored clad coins go for 12 hours and they will look like new. Cents should be cleaned separately, and for them, I add an ounce of vinegar to the above solution and they get done in about an hour. Maybe vinegar would speed up the silver colored clad too  never tried.

Lots of different ways of doing it.......end results, the same.

except I use aquarium gravel because I had it left over from my tropical fish keeping days.
