Ok-I am officially impressed...Small campaign pin in a pile of piston rings...

I was using the stock coil also to snipe it out. Moving through a known heavy trash area that has also produced coins I found a short 50-52 VDI blip...This area is littered with small iron trash most notably piston rings. I've pulled almost a dozen-some intact- cleaning this spot. I was running pro zero ) disc listening to a constant jumble of iron tones when I got the repeatable blip...

Out came a 1936 FDR campaign badge-I'm amazed it survived & frankly a fan of his. But more pertinent it was found in extreme conditions and had been passed over by me & others many times.
I have also dug some very deep targets. I'm talking a foot on a piece of matchbook size scrap aluminum for example.

Anyhow-this pin is tiny & thin-but sang clear in a pile of piston rings-I am impressed to say the least...

Nice find and good hunting on your part. In trash, I am pretty darn impressed with the A T myself. HH jim tn

Great find. I have had the same experience a number of times in an area of old ruins that I hunt. Sometimes I've found myself grumbling about digging several rusty nails or other junk, only to find a little treasure that I'd overlooked. Here's a campaign button for Teddy Roosevelt that I found a while back.

Now aint that the coolest thing! :clapping: These Pros due tend to make believers out of some very capable and experienced hunters.

Just viewed an air test on the AT Gold. Air tests suck...and you just proved why. Way to go; nice find and persistence.
