43 nickles-4buffs,1 shield,2V's,5 war
72copper pennies
55 zincs- 3 Indians, 1 Fat Indian
Did not use the 9.5 " coil. Majority of
coins were gotten with 5.3 and shooter 4X6. Excellent depth on the 6000XLPRO and the small coils down 7 to 9"s depending on how much sen. I was running. Ran 5.3 mostly at 3 O'Clock but was able to run the shooter wide open. I really liked hunting the All Metal Modes with the lock on VDI. I also liked hunting in All Metal then pulling the trigger to go into the Dis. mode for the audio verification in the GEB Norm, GEB Sat mode. I really liked the Mineralized G/B in the TR mode, was really getting some deep stuff and this mode really separated the targets, especially when I was hunting dead in the trash and the iron. Could not get but 3 to 4"s in the regular TR mode. Mineralization down here runs about 50 to 60 on the 100 scale. I liked the Sat mode better then the Norm mode. The nice thing about the TR mineralized G/B mode, the Sat mode was the slow sweep in the trash. Damn, I liked that. Talk about pulling some coins out of the iron and the trash. I thought the MXT was good in the trash but the 6000XLPRO is a bad news BEAR.
I would like to thank all of you that helped me out on this machine. This machine is a real keeper and I am very PLEASED with it.
Oh I forgot to mention the nice 14kt Mans Ruby initial ring with a W in the middle. I got it with the 4X6 shooter coil. Going to give it to my Son In Law whose name is William. I have a lot of detectors but I will put this one right up there with my Shadow X5, M/L SE, CZ 3D which are my top detectors. :clapping: :D: :D: Later and thank you all for your help. Jerry aka Tinfoil

Sounds like you are off to a great start with the Pro. Keep us posted on your continued success. HH Randy

super start!.tin foil!.i have used this detector exclusively now since it came out in 2000!..the combination of modes for the various conditions one encounters is,in my opinion unparalleled in the industry.you have just an outstanding choices of weapons..(coils & modes) for ANY hunting environement!.i seldom hunt with the 9.5 coil, unless i hit a plowed field!..the combo of pro with 5.3 is devastating on coins, along with a "dead nuts" accurate analog meter.
it is extremely well balanced with 5.3 coil on board, and literally becomes an extention of one's arm!.i hunt a lot of old sidewalk easements which have produced quite well for me!..i like the faster sweep,as i like to go faster anyway and with the pro,you get better depth sweeping alittle faster!..i just picked up a 5 to 6 hour nimh charger, along with 8 aa's,and 4 aaa batteries from radio shack for 25.00 for all!..got lucky!..terrific beginning!

regards!

I'm with you JT, I like to faster sweepers too. If Jerry keeps this up, I will have to get me another one! The only detector that I have missed since I sold mine.

yeah!..i did the same thing too!..went fisher with the cz 70!..a great detector in it's own right, but i missed my pro!..when i heard that whitey was discontinuing them,i had to grab one before it was too late!..i can tell you this!..after 32 years of detecting,i just can't say enough about this instrument!..get that balance as hot as you can with out falsing, then go rip some coins out of the ground!..if it's in the ground it can't hide from the pro!..best damn coin sniper ever built in my humble opinion!

(h.h!)
