ok found 2 coins on the beach today 1 i know the other i need help

one is little sited liberty 1841


and the other 1835 one side with the date has stars al around and something in the middle


other side has an eagle with head to the left some1 used it as a medalion

Back in the day, people would punch holes in their coins and thread the coins onto a small piece of string and then wear them around their neck. This was done because most pants did not have pockets or if they did, they usually had holes in them. It was safer to have your coins around your neck.
