I'm just curious, I haven't seen any feedback on them as yet or even anybody posting that they were wanting one.

I changed my mind.....I dont think i will buy any sunray products....Not untill they put out the probe for the Coinstrike....I am tired of the two year two step Ralph keeps dancing to. It is gettin old hearing the same ole line and dance from him.

i am planning on buying this as i do have both the ace 250 and the gtp1350. i will buy in january so i can get the $159.95 price.

I was curious as to why a probe would be made for a detector when the probe would cost as much or more then the detector. But, I didn't realize that it will also work on the GTp1350. Will it work on all the garretts, like the 1000 & 1250? who knows.

One of them detector pro probes........its deeper than the sunray....and most of all it will work on my Coinstrike.....and all my other detectors, now i believe thats the ticket.

Hi all,

I remember what I thought when I first read about Sun Ray in-line probes. I could not believe they were as useful as they said. I could not see how one would help me very much. Thought the extra weight would make detecting more difficult. But most of all, I could not justify spending that much money for another pin-pointer when I already had a hand held pin-pointer that I thought worked really well.

Some time passed and I ran across a fellow metal detecting in a park. An in-line probe was attached to his detector so I watched him working for about 20 minutes. I was so impressed that I ordered an in-line probe the very next day. Couldn't order it the same day ..... Had to get approval from the Boss.

All kidding aside, I believe the Sun Ray in-line probe has cut my actual recovery time in half. I have used 3 different hand held pin-pointers, but none of them even comes close to performing as well as the Sun Ray does.

I will not buy another detector if there is not a Sun Ray probe available for it.
