how about a report on the Excal 2 ...is it much lighter with the new coil? you like?
 
I can't compare with other types or the older ones, but I love mine. I've had it for about 6 days now, used it 3 times. Maybe I am weak, but I am chalking it up to muscles I don't normally use, but my arms do hurt after a while. Then again I searched 3.5 hours the first day and 6 hours each day for the next two. I plan on going out again tomorrow for 3-4 hours.
 
thanks for the reply.iv had 3 Excals and i had to hip mount them all as they were way too heavy shaft mounted.if i sell my GT i will buy the Excal 2 and mount it on a back pack harness made out of PVC.takes all the weight off.just hope the coils are lighter on the new ones!
