OK can anyone help I somehow set something wrong in my v3i my understanding is that the beach program salt water and deep silver only run one freq. but even setting the programs back to factory default both run all three freq. any ideas what I did wrong ?

The salt program can't work in single frequency. The deep silver is setup in one frequency but you can run it in any single frequency, multi - frequency, salt beach etc. Rob

OK rob thanks for the response maybe I was adding problems to my issue by over thinking the problem but the deep silver is running in three freq. and that's where my problem started. any ideas ?

Run it in any way that works best for you. Deep silver was setup to run in single 2.5 and with most targets but silver discriminated out. Adjust anyway you want . It will work in 3 frequency it just won't be doing what it was designed to do.

Salt beach uses the salt subtraction method and this won't work with one frequency.

wingisson, The Silver runs one Frq 2.5 you are right and you did a reset on the Silver program, id call Whites Tec Help
BETS Service ever, Mickfin, Good Luck,

Your unit is OK. Try setting it to 2.5, then save it. Then hit reset and see what happens. If you erase it, and bring the program up from the library you will see it in 2.5.

If you restore from the Library the factory program HAS to be 2.5. You can not change and save to the factory program library. You must be restoring from changes you made to Deep Silver and saved in your personal programs.

I did what rob said all set now thanks all !

Problem solved.
