They may or may not work where you are and what you hunt for anyway. What are you having problems with? With more info we may be able to "suggest" a starting point that you can build on as you gain experience with the C$.

Bill L likes the 525 setting {5 sensitivity, 25 threshold). That's a good middle of the road one to start with. I use the 1010 setting the most when not in trash.

Most folks use Avg off, I use Avg On. Most folks use Disc, I use All Metal unless in solid trash.

with threshold @10 and sensitivity @10 with averaging off and ground tracking on. I have everything notched in. Iron set at 99. Now, if it starts falsing or there is a lot of intereference, I drop the sensitivity down to 5 or lower and lower the threshold to as much as -40 in order to balance it out if need be. Because even with the C$ set at Sensitivity of 2, you can still dig 4" targets depending on your location and ground mineralization.
