OK, Bill, my Ladd, its time to bite the bullet, I.D. EDGE vs F70:fisher:

Here we have two Fisher models at the same price, and the EDGE has "made its bones."
Bill you helped with the designing of the EDGE, and have used it extensively in many different situations.
You have now been putting many hours on the F-70, though I don't know if you have tried out the possibilities
of the F-70 with the 11"DD at slow speed. [Mr Bill reports more depth at higher disc at slow with std loop.]
So give us the strong points of each detector, in what area does it excel. Tell us about any new techniques
you have come up with; or does either detector have some hidden aptitude that no one at the factory knew
about and was only discovered once it got out in the field. [This has happened before.] What are the weak
points. I suspect the EDGE will not continue in production, so what things would you like to see updated in a new
chip [maybe manual ground balance for example] on the F-70.
I doubt ANYONE knows these detectors better than you, and YOU can put them side by side in any situation.
ALSO, I would love to see a serious long video field test of the CZ-21, especially as it is supposed to have a lock-in
all metal pinpoint mode, and find out if its hotter than the CZ-20. And I have several friends who are DYING
to see the F-5 in action. [I've had 6 friends watch your F-70 videos at my house.] While it has knobs, I can't see
it being any simpler than the EDGE or F-70 to set up, so
performance will be where it counts.:please::detecting::beers:

I would go for the ID Edge given the choice between the Edge & the F70 for sure. :) Not certain how long there going to be availble though.

CZ-21 is still a CZ. No improvement in depth over the 20. Better Pin Point, better sealing, new case. Not much need for a full field test, people have been using them for years, as it's the same circuit.

Mr Bill, any reason why you pick the EDGE? Depth, separation, recovery speed, ability to handle bad ground or hot rocks?
