Ok----Any News on a date for the small coil ?

I know that may sound like a vague answer, but at least they are working on it.....
I don't think First Texas wants to place a promiced release date out there like happened with the F75 & F4. If they said June and it got pushed back, that just creates more complaining.....

Hi Bill,

Is there any word on a smaller DD coil for the T2? I own both a T2 and a F75, and would buy a smaller coil for both detectors if and when they become available.

Thanks, Bill

and I couldn't tease it out of anyone there, from the President on down, and the sense I got was the same as Bill's take. No date = no disappointments, but soon is such an "interpretable" term. "Soon" as in waiting for a root canal, or "soon" as in waiting for my daughter to get out of college....
I think that the brisk sales of the F75 will at least remove any concern about there being a market for the shooter coil (or the Sunray Probe, I hope). I've already placed a "soft order" for the smaller coil.

I think FT/Fisher could keep the enthusiasm for their new company going with the addition of the smaller coil for the F75. They have already proved, with the introduction of F75, their intents of bringing out great detectors. They have also proved their integrity by voluntarily recalling the F4 for a faulty part.

Personally I would rather hear a sincere, there WILL be one and we're working on it" then the promise it's coming out by a certain date. Many of us have been let down by the promises made for coils coming out and never happening. Most recently the T2 and Terra series. Lets hope Fisher jumps on this one with both feet.
