DC/ID wants a pair of jeans that cost $97 and borrows $50 each from two friends...Bubba & Elson.
He buys the jeans and gets $3 back.
He gives Elson a dollar, and Bubba a dollar, and keeps $1 for himself.
Now DC owes Bubba & Elson $49 apiece.
But $49 plus $49 is $98; when you add the $1 DC kept, you get $99. Where's the missing dollar?
Even if you suggest that the other two dollars have already been given to Bubba & Elson which would add up to $100.00..now you have one extra dollar.
