Freekin sweet tests fellas....I do have a question? Has anyone done this test with a F75 or T2.....I am just trying to settle a bet with an old friend.. I actually picked up a new GB Pro just not long ago and am still waitin for the snow to melt....(By the way, too bad Surfscan detectors is goin out of business....Mr. Crabtree is unbelievable to work with...thanks again Bill.)

My buddy claims a 75 would dominate this kind of test....i told him to quit eating paint chips...

Mr. Bill is a great guy! Glad he is still hanging around the site to help out! Great idea on the video. Love to see that myself!

Yes Mr Bill is the tops .

The only test i have done with the GB29er and F75 is this.
Indoors with nail under rug , put silver dime on top then a roll of tape
on top for a spacer and then lay a rusty nail across that.
Machines CZ70, F75 ,GB
11DD coil F75 no go , did not matter what settings were used. GB one way hit with diggable ID
5in CZ [concentric] no go iron 5in DD F75 one way hit but iffy, GB one way hit with diggable ID

Try some more when snow melts. F75 is deeper but GB is great in iron .

Put a cardboard box, about 12" to 18" size on the floor. Make a slit in the side of the box 6" down from the top. Insert a dime or quarter in the slit. Poke a small nail through the cardboard 4" down from the top of the box. Move the nail to different locations. Nail can be 6" to the right or left of the coin and it will still mask the coin. Also try it with 2 nails, one on each side of the coin. The situation gets worse when a nail is off to the side of the coin .
