Early this morning, Hank was at his usual golf league game, and I was at one of my favorite beaches for a couple of hours.

The recent downpour brought lots of coins and a silver hoop earring part to the surface for me.

Not much in the way of jewelry finds, but whilst looking through my coin finds, I was surprised to see this "mystery " coin... I hadn't looked at any coins as I recovered them from the sand, had just put them in my pocket.

Here's pics of today's finds...and from a hunt a couple of days ago where I stepped into an ambush as I walked toward the shoreline

I'm sure you all will ID the coin very easily....you guys are sharp!
