but we did find a lot of silver!
We got out today for about 5 hours and were able to rake in the goods. It was real windy and every 10-20 minutes it would start sprinkling. I really had to watch and make sure that the 250 didn't get too wet. All those rain droplets convinced me to get a rain cover for the 250 along with the coil cover.
Anyway, back to the finds. About 2 and a half hours into our hunt I went back to the truck to ask the old man if he had found anything good. Sure enough, he told me that he had found 3 Rosies.
Well, I told him thats nice, but when is he going to find a silver quarter. We haven't found 1 of them in almost a year. After talking to him for a few more minutes I went back to the park and continued hunting for another hour and a half. Then came the rain. I wasn't willing to risk the 250, so I decided to call it a day. As I was checking the 250, he came up and, of course, told me he had found a silver quarter.
What a day, what a day!
