Took the Excal for a solo spin on 08-10 and was in the water by 730P, into a 821P -0.7L and SE winds at less than 5. Was able to head to the stratosphere in the mine, as the tides were real low, but was still hunting chest to neck most of the hunt (I am 5'10"). Target density was not too bad, and the clad count was $1.56. I did not mind though, as clad is simply a casualty of war.

Gold's what we're lookin' fer and gold's what I found! The 1st ring came to hand earlier in the hunt, it came in low toned (almost bottle-cappy) and just got better. It is .417 and has some rose gold in the design. Toward the end of the hunt, I headed out deeper and got another low tone. Dug it and another one! This one is 10KP (karat plum) and has 2 small diamonds in it.

Yes, I got the green light on these! Bailed at 11P after my headlight went out AND started to get the death squeal on the Excal too! I just said, OK Lord, I'm outa here, gotta go to work tomorrow anyway! When I left, there were still targets! Went home with another smile! I gotta have somemora dat action! This is a disease!
