Finally a replacement for the Infinium...check out the tiny nuggets this new EXTREME will find!
My Infinium would not hit these bits...my AT Gold would though.

I'm sure it will be MUCH lower priced than Minelab anything...

So I take it you were a field tester? Nice nuggets.

Perhaps the :garrett: "shape" of things to come.

Check out the bag Warren of NQ Explorers is taking out of the Land Rover................ now look carefully at the video and stop at selected points.:)

That's what many are thinking. But the Recon Pro is heavy, so hopefully they got rid of its heaviness.

It's good to see some competition for the Minelab machines. They are very Expensive! Don't know how good the Whites PI detector is but the Infinium is a good predecessor to be working from.
Mick Evans.

I am not a big fan of Minelab I really hate the sound of a flute playing in my ear, there features are not the best for me you may like them but I do not, my Garrett GTI 2500 in all-metal mode found targets smaller and deeper than my Minetrash Eureka gold in side by side tests, I tested in the ground not in the air, air tests are worthless, performance in the ground is were it really counts, Garrett finally coming out with a enhanced PI is an excellent idea , I also have a Whites TDI I really like the way this puppy finds targets, I am also an Electronics Technician starting my career in industrial food service metal detectors costing in excess of $10,000 a piece trouble shooting to board and component level so I know what I am talking about , I would really like to get a look at it, the new PI.:clapping:

My Infinium will already get gold to those physical sizes......Not very deep but it will detect them at a few cm with the 3 x 7 DDs
I hope the New Finny is Waaaaaaay better

Everyone knows YOUR Infinium gets gold that size...but yours is the only one that does in the entire world!...so stop saying it.

Does anybody know what kind of headphone connectors it has? Hope it's like the At/Pro's, Infinium and sea hunter.

Just saying with all the hoopla, the PI is not the machine for 75% of those who now use a VLF machine.
Half of those 25% that do buy one, probably will sell and return to a VLF.
Unless someone can come up with a discriminating PI that works similar to a VLF. Then you'll see VLF's go bye-bye.
Who ever comes out with one first will be rolling in the $$$ and it won't be cheap. Mainly because they will still want to sell VLF
that the average person can afford.

I truely hope Garrett comes out with something innovative to shock the world. And who are the engineers on this project, would be something if it was
some young person(s) starting a career, Garrett better have them under contract. So Garrett can keep that person(s) under their roof........

Can't wait to see what Garrett is going to show the world. Minelab look out?

If you were I have to admit I'm a pretty gullible guy.

Got to be one of the first few to see it first hand before it reached this forum.
It's a spectular unit, performs amazingly. It takes over where the Scorpion and GTi2500 left off with new technology thrown in.
Can't say anymore........................

Yes, so was Paul and the rest of us. It all started when Paul posted his Compass mod planned for the near future. He thought you guys would like to see it. Well, when he heard about the new Garrett Extreme everyone is going bonkers about, one thing led to another. .....LOL
Good to have a little fun on the forums now and then.
