Started salt water wading a little late in life. This being my fourth year. So this year I got it figured on having some fun. Got the right equipment for my needs. Pulse Induction detector, with a lot of fresh water experience in 2015. Wet suit, just right. Good scoop. Even felt good about being able to pick out the trenches between shore & first sandbar. Couple weeks hunting finding coins, junk jewelry, even a silver earing. Having fun. Than a storm comes up, huge surf, moving everything around creating new ditches up and down beach. Great , took couple days to settle down. Suited up, went down to the beach, and. Naw, come on this can't be. Over night mind you, the whole first sandbar in both directions was blown right up to the beach. Every trench filled in ! Waded out past the sandbar, chest high, couldn't find hard bottom anywhere. I'm talking about 5-7 miles of beach in my area. Gulf Coast. Well got to go to plan B till conditions change.

Sounds like normal conditions at the beach. Hang in there. Conditions will change.

There always seems to be an exception to rules/mottos, the lazy Gulf seems to be that exception.....somehow, mother nature just keeps finding more sand and doesn't open anything up anymore..... :-(
