Oh, Woe, Arm Cuff Broke

Yeah, I was out swinging this afternoon and the arm cuff snapped off the ATP's shaft. Took me by surprise just as I was getting to some prime real estate, of course. But, the silver lining on this cloud? I got home in time to get the coil, housing and broken cuff packed up and to the Post Office. It is off to Garrett for the upgrade I've been putting off not wanting to be without that sweet thing.
In fairness to the ATP the cuff post snapped when I was in travelling mode; swinging at a high rate of speed while moving to that prime spot. That puts a lot of force on that fulcrum point, the cuff's single screw post. I'm just saying.

That is a bummer had that happen a few times on other detectors. Always carry a back up cuff back up detector back up every thing on my trips. Now.

Jason

Jason, good points. I need to upgrade my backups, being spoiled by the ATP. Maybe a second ATP!!!
