Have I came across another thing to collect???
I love the "thrill of the hunt" of collecting things. To fill in the missing space is a hunt in it self.
I have about 10 elongated pennies and keep them in a folder. Up until today I thought they were just pennies made into elongated pennies by a machine in the last 10 to 20 years. After finding my Chicago worlds fair elongated penny dated 1934 I looked it up on the computer to find they started making pennies into elongated pennies in 1892
Heres a link if your interested

metal-detecting a terrific hobby as it leads to so much .....like studying about what you find and searching for info on relics and misc. found and places to find them! Never a dull moment, especially when you have to clean all those coins and etc. :detecting: :detecting: :twodetecting:

God Bless & Happy Hunting!
