Woke up with no heat -4 degrees outside and currently 49 inside. Fuel oil jells at these extreme low temps and won't travel through the small copper line. Heat tape was on but breaker tripped! Trying to warm things up but no go yet. Called a friend who is bringing a salamander down. Hope that does the trick.

Here is the old salamanders we use to use back in the old days on construction sites. I think they also call them 'smudge pots'. Can't be used indoors as they can belch out smoke.
I've used them in the garage during the winter many moons ago but it is necessary to have ample ventilation. They really take the edge off the cold when you're working in the garage trying to rebuild an engine.
