Oh man... my arm hurts!!!

Went to the beach this morning. Used the CZ-20 so I could go in the water more... took my first dunk :) I was only in just about over my knees cause the surf was really rough. I took one wave about waist high and as it was going out it took my feet out from under me. Good thing I always wear a wader belt as I didn't get any water in my waders. Also a very good thing that I was using my CZ and not the Exp II or it would have been one expensive dip :) There was only one other guy on the beach (I know him)and of course, he saw the whole thing. We were both laughing pretty hard about it

After about an hour, I went back to the car and got the Exp so I could work the upper sand. Man, this is like a new machine! It's so much more stable. I was able to run it very hot and I was digging some REALLY deep clad. My arm is killing me :) I still can't believe the depth that this thing gets at the beach. No kidding, 12" to 18' is not unusual. No gold today... just clad. But it was a nice morning; just started to drizzle when I was leaving. Yesterday I used the CZ (it was raining pretty hard) and only managed a sliver earring, some clad and about 5 sinkers (gave them to a guy who was fishing). Hope everyone had better results than I did :)

Glad you got both machines back Joe. Especially glad you didn't fill up your waders with water or destroy the Exp. Ii. Glad you are getting out. and doing some detecting. <aybe I should send my detectors in for a tune up (after I get moved).

Yeah, I would have gotten that if I didn't hip mount the CZ-20 :) The Exp II is no lightweight either :)
