Hotter that the hinges of hell down here! Very little rain, higher humidity than one might think, I'm good for about one hour after sunrise then I have to pack it in. 20 years ago, when I was younger and even more full of it, we thought nothing of going out in the middle of July, august, whatever, all day long in the middle of acres and acres of nothing but sun and heat! Maybe that's why I work in a mental hospital today, ya reckon? Or could it be that I turned 65 10 days ago? or both?

Hey, I am in the South! If Louisiana isn't in the South, nothing is! And pretty soon, Baton Rouge will be the coastline, and New Orleans will be but a soggy memory if erosion keeps up like it is.

Here in WNY it rained for two months, now I dont feel I can complain because we had days of 80's and 90's :/
Well it is raining on and off again and it is 60's and 70's again :)
I do have to say that after months of rain it boggles the mind how the ground can be so hard already
with just weeks of sunshine and small amounts of rain instead of torrents of rain
