Oh, Do I Love this E-Trac ?

Well, I found myself a new clad pit, and it also gave up some silver -- 2 rings and an ear ring.

With todays 2 silver rings, my total now stands at 15 for the year.

Clad total came to $18.85, more gas money.

For those of you that are new users with the E-Trac -- Find a site thats not heavy with trash and dig all the hits that you get, this will teach you what the detector is telling you with the FE / CO numbers and the sounds / tones.

Congrats on the silver rings and the huge clad haul!!!

Very nice pile of finds

That's a lot of clad! Congrats on the silver jewelry too!

Sweet BH !!!!

That is great stuff.:clapping: nice silver and good clad. I found one of those claddach rings this year also.
Congrats:cheers:
Doc

Can you tell us what program you ran to get the rings. Did you run all metal, coins or beach mode?

Thanks 3qtr

Coin and jewelry programs merged with all the top right corner open as well for the silver.

Threshold limit just barely audible
Volume limit 29
Volume gain 29
Response normal
Tone id 4 (four)
Sounds conductive
Variability 29
Limits 29
Threshold pitch 28-29 makes silver scream out
Deep on or off
Fast off -- unless the area is really trashy
Trash high
Ground difficult

Now, you will notice that I have left out the sensitivity setting in this list, there is a reason. I've been running it in manual with a setting of two or three numbers above the suggested numbers that the E-Trac gives.

Nice finds. You definitely found an unhunted spot.

I use my coin program to find silver rings, they just come up as a nice tone with quarter numbers.

Gold with an E-Trac may be difficult (because of all the pull tabs), but the E-Trac doesn't pass any silver.

Yes, silver it rings out on.

Gold, I've found 3 gold rings with the E-Trac since I've owned it.
