In spite of not yet knowing what prize Vernon will offer for the winning entry, allow me to lead off .....
Trying to keep up with a much younger and stunningly beautiful wife and his three daughters, who take after their mother, Cooter Cross has once again crossed the line for someone of his age and condition.
Recently his buddy, Bubba Miller, visited to go metal detecting. Well Bubba got all limbered up using the 7 years of Auburn P.E training he received at great expense to his mother and father.
Cooter, not wanting to be outdone, remembered the exercise he learned from some drunken sailors at the Numba 10 Bar in Saigon, Vietnam. This exercise may have contributed to a potential injury of his right wrist.

That evening, after a long day of detecting, Cooter wanted to entertain Bubba and his daughters by teaching everyone how to breakdance. This strenuous exercise might have become a contributing factor to a potential injury of his left wrist.

On the last day of Bubba's visit, Cooter took him to Virginia Beach for some beach detecting. It didn't matter that a large section of the beach was roped off for an International Sand Sculpting competition. Cooter just plowed ahead without asking and began detecting on a huge sculpture just as the irate artist was receiving his 1st Place award and check in front of the Virginia Beach Newspaper photographer.
The artist, Bruce VanDevine swished over and smacked the crap out of Cooter's already weakened right wrist with his itsy bitsy sand shovel. Bubba had to drive back home with Cooter wimping out and crying in the back seat.
