Our Chihuahua princess loves her " beanie ". My wife made a cotton fabric tube about 3" in dia., 18" long and filled it with wheat or similar small grain. A cotton outer sleeve ( washable ) goes over it. We stick it in the microwave for approx. 90 seconds. Boy, Ruby cuddles up to that sausage big time; stays quite warm for an hour or more. (Don't think any synthetic fabric should be used.)

Perfect warmer upper for small dogs and cats. Make one too, for personal use on the neck or other ouch areas where practical.

Hate to admit it, but we have about 25" of snow and temps. have been down to 23 F. Tired of shoveling ! Have decided that snow is definitely a four letter word !

PS ......... Merry Christmas to all ........and a New Year of better times to come !

We got these critters called BALD EAGLES that keep those pesky ankle biters cleared up so they aren't such a nuisance! Even BALD EAGLES like MEXICAN food once in a while!

We have a DOG. Weighs in at about 92 pounds. Makes it harder for them BALD EAGLES to pack 'em off!:usan:

I like OSU....No NOT friggin' BUCKEYES! Or SOONERS!

I'm talkin' BEAVERS! Oregon State type.

Oh yeah...."Tabasco" is too mild. I drink "Frank's RED HOT" right from the botttle. Keeps me warm at night.
