Off Topic - Thoughts on the TDI Pro and AT GOLD Trade for ATX USER

Hi Guys

a month or so ago I won a Garrett AT GOLD which looks like a nice machine - however cannot be used at the beach at all - I have not even tried. Anyway, someone I know has a Whites TDI Pro (2013 build) he cannot use as he does not like PI's and is not near the beaches! He is keen to direct trade. Wondering your thoughts, I think probably a good idea for me as I only do beaches anyway!

Also, in a super sanded in beaches the TDI may be a good choice, or at least a good backup machine for the ATX. Videos show deep audio response. Not waterproof - but we have plenty of beaches with deep sand at the moment!

Do you think it is a good trade? New AT GOLD for 2013 Whites TDI Pro??

Will be interesting to see. I may mod the TDI and make it waterproof.... A winter project for me

I can tell you the TDI Pro is a very deep machine. I have owned both sold the ATX . The one thing I liked about the ATX is disc good on the beach when the iron was not to deep. With the TDI Pro you will need to dig almost everything. As far as the trade that is a no brain er TDI Pro is worth two AT Golds if it has been taken care of. When it comes to the beach.

Cool sounds like the right decision. Will come back to you all with my thoughts on the pro. It is the Oz series with the mono coil
