Does anyone use Killer "B" headphones with the adapter on the AT GOLD??? even the AT PRO? Mine will not work, sound beeps from detector like not using headphones, but the adapter is PULG in to the detector. Trying to work out a problem.
Thanks

Headphones need to be in stereo mode. In mono mode I didn't hear anything in headphone and the detector would beep.

One of those switchs on the side of the phones is for the problem you describe. The Killer "Bs" are supposed to work with any detector.

If flipping the switch doesn't work, try a different set of 'phones. If they don't work, the adapter is kaput. First one I got was fried from the get-go, had to get it replaced.

I have used the Killer B 'Wasp' headphones and the SunRay Pro Gold headphones for years. They are essentially the same headphones and performance. I prefer these for every detector i own and use.

The AT 'brothers', the Pro and Gold have their waterproof design for the smaller percentage of hobbyists who actually work a detector in the water. Some of the new design ideas behind these two models is fine, but .....

Garrett needs to provide us with a more 'normal' land-based model that has and easy-to-adjust search coil plug/jack and easy to use a normal

Thanks for the tips, but I have tried everything with the toggles. I just used my Killer "B" with a make shift adapter and they worked. Must be the adapter that's bad. They will here from me on Monday. I don't mind the Garrett water connector as I am one of the few water hunters that use the AT PRO in the water. It is a KILLER on small gold. Have found small gold that tested against another brand detector and that brand did not even give the slightest beep on the target.
