ODDS AND ENDS FROM PAST TWO YEARS

It is Winter Weeks and I am not Detecting :sadwalk:

So I decided to post some interesting stuff we found

These are some finds from the year before I joined the Forum

There is some RR Tags and Pressed Pennies and Tokens of all kinds

The two Tokens photographed separately were found by Brian in a Field, 1837 Hard Times Token and a Canadian 1820 Harp and Bust Token

Nice finds!! If your in to tokens here's a book called ( United States Tokens 1700-1900 ) . It is 1200 pages of tokens and full of info.
 
oh cool i just found that same aluminum token with the good luck here this sunday, well it was at least 50 years old i found at a fairgrounds that just broke up a parking lot that went down in 1963 . mine doesnt have the writing on it but is the exact same on the other side it has a american flag in center , i would bet it was something you got at the fair and maybe they would put your message on the front. i think mine rang up like 42 . thats funny
 
Thanks for the pictures Eva. I really like tokens. I think I only found one last year. You have my sentiments with the "sad walk" emoticon! :sadwalk:

Yeah Eva, Its cold here too and the hunting days are fewer than normal . Thanks for lettin us view these really cool finds!! Hope it warms up soon and dries up a little.
 
Very nice,I love tags and tokens,they have their own history say to speak!
