This is some of the stuff you might find if you hunt a 1920's park that was a landfill, dump, before they decided to make this site into a park.
From the kind of things I seem to find it was still used as a dump in some areas long after it became a park.
I fired up the Vaq yesterday just for a change and found some things from a couple different eras.
I seem to find lots of car parts around here and so far a few emblems/badges from some older vehicles.
This was a dealership badge from a now long defunct dealer...a Porsche emblem on the end magically appeared after some hard scrubbing.
The square thing is a Schick safety razor injector pack that I tracked back to between 1958-1964.
The round top is like my 4th 3 Merry Widows tin with no price so probably from the 20's to 30's.
I have found a lot of other way cool stuff at this park in my time, a silver pocket watch rim, a rare old merchant's token with a date, my first lead WW1 toy soldiers, a silver Masonic coin, my first IH's, some old wheaties and a lifetime Peace Dollar find.
Every once in awhile something stellar pops up but in between even the junk I find is very interesting to me.
