Oddball Ring found at 115 year old homesite.

I found some old coins and this interesting mans ring about a size 12. It appears to be hand carved out of LEAD. Anyone ever see or hear of one like
it? Any comments appreciated. Dave in N.E Penna.
 
Size 12..I'd hate to get tagged in the forehead by that puppy.Very cool find. I believe you're right, it looks home made
