Odd ring

Last weekend my wife, a friend, and myself hunted a school in central Oregon. I came up with another 1960 Rosey (2 1960's in a week??? lol) along with the ring below. Can anybody here please help identify what type of ring it is and what it might be made of? On the inside of the ring it's marked with "7 RM". The ring has 2 bands. The outer one spins on the inner. I've never seen anything like this before. Is it a cheapy?

I thought it was stainless as well, but it rang similar to foil on the X2. Not only that, but it was ~3-4" down and if it was stainless, I think it would rust, decay, or deteriorate. This dude looks pretty good.

It is Titanium, very popular ring with the boys who are in the military. My son in law said the guys are using these rings because the Titanium is stronger than gold or platinum (sp) and the reason it spins it so they can relieve stress by spinning it... my son in law currently has a ring near exactly like that, he wore it for a while but the spin began to bother him more than relieve him... My son in law spent four years in Iraq, was shot twice, stabbed once, and in a hum-vee that was blown up, he is currently going through PTSD and has a brain injury from the hum-vee explosion. So knowing what he is going through, seeing him struggle, the fight we have had with our government in trying to get him the help he so desperatly needs, my views of the leaders of this country is not as fond as others here... so I will keep my political views to myself
