Odd # Question Old Park

grumpy

New member
Morning Friends;

I have been hunting an old park for some time and with the E Trac i have noticed what i thought was a false number but now Im thinking it is not. I get over the park several numbers in the very low fe. like a 1- fe 33 co. the fe numberrs are usually one two or three and the co numbers are usually 31 to 33.
Any one have any idea what these numbers might be?? I know i should have dug a few and checked it out but I should have been rich and good looking instead of poor and ugly to but that didnt happen either so ; actually the park is one of those digging any more than necessary is not really a good idea.
So if anyone has any experience finding some particular item or items in that range please let me know.
Thanks Much
Grumpy

Hey Grumpy.

If these are repeatable, 2 way signals you might want to uncover a couple and find out what they are. Then for "that area" you'll have a good idea. "Most" of the time they not real great finds for me....but....I had a barber

The only way to find out is dig em'!! I noticed with my Ctx that some bad iron will hit 36-37 with a weird break and non typical audio,especially in manual sensitivity I would check at least one to see,I honestly didn't dig in that range of co numbers with my with my E trac

just today I dug a wheat that was 9-10" deep and it can in 01-33, from both directions repeatable.....STOP worrying about numbers when you decide to dig. If it gives a good sound, and gives a solid repeatble signal soundwise, DIG IT!!!!!!!

"Old" park today produced a great sounding steady 01-48 --- I had all kinds of visions when I started digging that--- modern pull tab--go figure! but i dug it

thanks; the info is great; As for the sounds Goes 4 Ever, I have a tad problem with sounds of any kind, pretty close to deaf especially when it comes to anykind of tones. But for sure where im at a good chance on these odd numbers being old indians or wheats if not maybe even better: or a pull tab for the collection: Only the digger know for sure whats down there. I dug several pennies last week that rang up solid 12-46 and 12- 47 not even wheats.:)

Thanks again will be more curious with the diging tool next time.
