Odd head phone trouble

My F-75 came with basic headphones which work fine, but when I plugged in my Gray Ghost head phones I had no sound. So I checked them with my CZ and they worked fine! Could it be he plugs size? I thought they were standard sizes.

I've recently experienced the same thing when I switched from my Timberwolfs to my Uniprobe. I thought my Uniprobes were defective at first, then after plugging, unplugging and moving it around I finally got them to work. I think using the long plugs on the F75 does something to the jack which make it hard to for shorter plug headphones to make the proper connection. However, once I got them to work they seem to work consistantly.

Try plugging/unplugging fast or slow or moving it around and see if you can't get a connection.

On the Gray Ghost you should have a toggle switch for mono or stereo so I would try that first as these 2 detectors can be different. If that is not the problem you may have a broken wire in the cable as i have seen this several time will they will work on one and not the other only to find out there is a broken wire in the cable.
