Odd Bayonet find in Cal

hotwheels

New member
Odd find in the Sacramento Valley. Havent heard of these found in Cal. Best I can research/match is from an 1842 Austrian 70 cal musket. Must have came with the early settlers. And the axe head was found nearby. Any ideas?...Thanks ..Dano

21" long and has the 4 edge blade.

Nice find there,
I can't help much with the ID on it, but you can use electrolosys on it and it should clean up well.
