Oceanfront Gave Up a 10k Ring Today

Hit the beach at 9am and worked it until 12:30pm. Surf was extremely rough and there were 3 or 4 huge cuts at least 4 feet deep. One of the cuts gave me around $3.00 in clad and this pretty 10k ring with blue, red and yellow stones. Jeweler tested is as good 10k not filled or plated. Big dumb me forgot to ask what kind of stones they were. Duh. Took the PI down due to the thick sand again. Did not see any other MD'r on the beach. Will head down again tomorrow, it should be pretty good again. Charge up your batteries!!

Each stone represents the birthstone of her children. Blue is a Saphire (or representative stone) for the month of Sept. I can't tell what the true color of the middle stone is. If it's bright red. that would be Ruby for July or if it's a reddish/brown color that would be a garnett for the month of Jan. The last one looks like pale (or pea) green. That would be a peridot (pronounced per-i-doh) for the month of august. Most stones in mother's rings are synthetic so I doubt that they are for real. The 10k is probably the most valuable thing about it.
Nice just the same.

I remember the old TV ads. The bread with the red, yellow, and blue ballons printed on the wrapper.
