Spent about 3 hours detecting today. ended with about $3.00 in change and a sterling silver hoop earring. Surprised that no other jewelry is being found. Usually I at least find junk costume jewelry. Found 6 nickels, so I know the excal is doing its job. Six more days to go.
 
Rick which area are you detecting, and this is OC Maryland?
 
I was at 58 st yesterday and found $1.60 at a small charm. Bull dossiers were pushing sand back to the fence line. Beautiful weather, big waves but not a good day for finds.
 
I am in NJ., not MD. Staying near 17th street. Usually work between the music pier and fishing pier. Going to Atlantic City to detect today as my daughter needs dialysis and that is in Atlantic City. So I will detect for three hours as she gets her treatment.
