Any old land hunter will know having more coils for your machine you can fine tune it to the hunting location........I have everything from the Sunray 5, Sunray 8, stock 10, ULT 13, and the WOT. The 13 is the deepest but only up to very shallow water, will false once under 12 inch's of saltwater. Being able to change coils, and the remote PP I am able to hunt from the trashiest, to the one that you need the depth when targets are deep. I bought a CTX just for the peace of mind that I could match it in trashy areas..On a Iron infested beach I went thru with the Excalibur first, pulled 10 silver Washington's and several silver dimes. Then I came thru with the CTX, found nothing in the iron....Nothing left... One thing I can say, the work is harder with the Excalibur but it will do as well if not better. NOW the work is easier with the CTX....as far as depth, having the op to use one machine, and carry the coils in the truck, is like having several Excalibur's.. A real Game changer, I just wish Minelabs would step in and upgrade the Excalibur's to these Mods....

Thanks Mr Max and All for the nice comments.....
