I have a small supplement( Aetna) insurance with my medicare its been ok.NOW,everytime I go into the hospital the first 8 days I have to pay $300 a day,how many times do you go in for over 8 days stay:confused:Even if you have your private insurance the gov. is making drastic changes ,you have no choice:shrug:What a RIP-OFF:veryangry:

Yes, he and congress are sure hurting those who can't afford higher payments....BO wants Senior Citizens to die and just have the younger Liberal folks living to vote for him and his Liberal Dems, but even they are beginning to see the light as they will have to pay the brunt of the ins for the poor and Senior Citizens ins coverage and aren't liking it one bit! May Obama, his Dems and his gov't ins be gone forever, in Jesus' name I pray! Amen! Ma

I know the feeling.

I work for a hospital, and have for the last 20 years, and one of the major perks was the benefits. I used to have great health coverage. I had to go to the ER last month and got a bill for over $1,400. I went to out accounting department and asked WTH is going on? I was told it's the new ACA/Obamacare regulations. Right at Christmas time gee thanks! All this was sold on the false concept that it would give affordable healthcare to all these people who "couldn't afford it". I like the part about making it so those with preexisting conditions can get coverage, but what a price to pay for such a simple option that isn't going to be affordable anyway. Until you make a trip to the hospital you have no idea just how messed up this new law is. Hang on and bring the Vaseline.

Yea, Ma, I am also worried for the people who are in their later stages in life. The quality and expedient care may be gone for us and our loved ones, due to this change in health care. I certainly don't like the thought of strangers deciding weather or not we are worth getting treated because of age...that's just plain cold hearted and inhumane.

Imagine how they/we will feel after living a long hard productive life, giving and loving...to all of a sudden be told, 'you're not worth treating'....it's insanity.....I don't think it will go over so well unless they have the youth brainwashed to their way of thinking.

I saw a docco where people get looked after better in Cuba! If they can do it there everyone should be able to.

Well, Cuba is a Socialist nation with a dictating ruler and that is what they are trying to do in America, but Socialism and Communism or whatever never works for very long and I want my nation back to freedom of religion, freedom of medical treatment and etc. If Cuba is so great, than leave the USA and go there to live and see how you like living under Socialism and dictators!  Ma
