"O" rings for the Pro

Hi,
I need some advise regarding replacement of the "O" rings on my Wife's AT Pro.

I have been doing a lot of scuba diving down to 8ft with the Pro. My question is, does it matter what sort of "O" rings would be the best to replace the original ones with - rubber or silicone rings?
Is there a replacement kit put out by garrett as I'm worried that my local hardware store may not have the exact size in stock. I notice that you have to take exceptional care when plugging in your different coils or headphones as quite often I find the "O"ring deforming which can stretch it & weaken the seal. I do use a lubricant on the rings before plugging things into the detector.

My wife has pointed out the fact that I won't need a weightbelt on when diving as the cement shoes, custom made by her, will hold me nicely on the bottom if I flood her detector!

A quick call to Garrett will get you some o-rings I'm sure. The good news is those connections are bulkheaded. A leak there will not flood the box. The o-rings just keep the connectors dry.

Thanks everyone - This was a major worry about using the wife's detector underwater. I was a train driver & didn't have to qualify in using "O" rings & their correct operational treatment.
I thought I had better check as I would probably be the poor sucker who was volunteered by my wife to mix the concrete for my own shoes if the detector leaked again!
Gary.
