From the land of the Bluenose....as I was in my patrol car in the vehicle corridoor on the apron an airbus buzzed me dropping exploding suitcases from the cargo hold....the phone rang! Got to give up eating when I get off night shift and hit the hay!

Back in lala land the phone rang again...this time my brother inviting me out for a round of golf. Must be hard up for a few bucks as he knows I play only with a putter and 7 iron...I declined and snoozed off again.

About noon the better half woke me up and said the magic words..."Time to go to the beach!" In no time we were on our way with the Seahunter Mark 2, the Freedom 3 and a picnic basket in tow to a local park/beach. Of course the "Boss" vetoed bringing Bud and Captain Morgan! Another minute and you could see in the background a crazy man swinging a detector>

Pennies were a coming and it wasn't long before I had a nice .925 ring and a dozen bottle caps. Sweating bullets was a good indication that it was time to change venues so into the water I went with the second target being a little 10k gold ring followed by a single scoop that needed a pair of twoonies and a quarter.

After an hour it was time for the picnic and the trip home. Today was Marie's last day of vacation and I'm sure she enjoyed it. End result for the dig/swish was a silver ring, a gold ring and 31 coins @ &8.45
