Anyone using GTI 1500 or 2500 in NW GA or SE TN? Wondering how the machines handle ground in this area. Currently using a CZ 3D and nails around old houses are driving me crazy. Would the GTIs work better in these circumstances and still get good depth? Have not used a Garrett since the 1980s.
Thanks in advance,
Don

Dan,
Either of the two will do real well, better discrimination than the 3d, I have used all of them and the 3d will drive you crazy. Problem with all the Fishers is that love the iron, especially deep iron items and nails.
I have found Garrett to handle these much much better.
I hunt all over middle Tn in some of the worst ground around.
I would suggest to you the 2500, only because you have an all metal mode with it, which you do need in the area you are hunting relic's or deep coins in that type of ground.
Hope this helps you.
