I have been MDing only a short time like to hunt around in the woods, along water,or really any place i will not be bothered nobody i know does this so i go by myself or my kids willing to go anywhere I like to explore and find new places not looking for already found sites

That is too bad. Many of those spots that have been discovered and "pounded to death" are some of my best places to hunt. Why? many hunters cherry pick an area and think they have "found it all" and move on. Me, I hunt slow, (own a Sov GT so I have to hunt slow) methodical, use smaller coils and take my time. To me this is not a race, it is a journey. I mainly hunt by myself as well but would be nice to hook up with a fellow hunter once in a while. I am about 30-40 minutes from NW Connecticut - Jim

Hey Jim, I know it's been awhile but I've been researching a couple of places if you want to get together for a hunt send me a message

Hey Everybody

I live in Stratford, been at it since 1964, have detector, no car. Seek friends to search parks and beaches and parks in and around Stratford. I am retired.
