NW Arkansas too mineralized for Tejon?

Bagman13

New member
Hello Everyone.....I have heard that the tesoro tejon does not fare well in regards to depth in highly mineralized soil. Would someone be able to tell me if NWA has bad soil that would adversely affect the tejon? Or are there any tejon owners out there that do well in this area? I'm mainly a relic hunter, but also a coin hunter and am trying to decide if the tejon would be better than the vaquero, or vise versa based on soil conditions. I have heard the vaquero will actually hit a little deeper in hot or mineralized soil. Any help woudl be appreciated.
Thanks,

Bagman13,

If NW Arkansas to mineralized maybe a Lobo SuperTRAQ is in your future. Makes hunting in high mineralization easyer.

Tryied to send a long PM but it failed to go through, guess you have'nt put enough posts yet to be able to get PMs. To bad Tabdog is'nt posting, he belongs to a club in Arkyvill & thats in his back yard, he's a well of information.

Saw where Tabdog had posted on another forum a couple of days ago. I think I read that he had been ill and also having some other difficulties. Stated that he was back and if I remember correctly I think he is on a dial up service.

God Bless,
