Numbers are all wrong on my CTX

This started on a hunt yesterday. Numbers don't match the tones. Quarters give a nice high tone but the read out is like what I get on a nickel,…. down in the 11-or 12 range, Did a factory reset and still have the same problem. Anyone ever have this problem?
 
Are you sure the numbers arent 11 45 or 12 45 (or there about) It sounds like you are only seeing the ferrous numbers and not the conductivity which should be around 45
 
Got it figured out. Thanks GKMan. I didn't do a good job explaining the problem. Another factory reset did it. The numbers were just hanging up no matter what I went over.
 
Hmmmm.I would keep a close eye on how your machine is acting. That would worry the heck out of me if I had that happen to mine.
