Numbers all over the place

Waterdog

Well-known member
I was out hunting the other day in Pro custome ( stays the way you left it after you turn it off ) and my numbers was jumping all over the place. I changed the setting to Pro Zero and it stopped jumping all over. Has anyone else had this issue of numbers all over the map?

Yes.......once when there was too much EMI where I was hunting, and once when water got into the coil connector at the box. I removed it, dried it, put on some silicone grease, then all was fine.

I only had that happen once...it was the very first morning I took it out...I re-wrapped the lower cable, checked all the connections, (Like John Said) and never had any trouble since...I think it was prob a loose coil connection at the box, since I'm in the habit of trying not to overtighten anything...Let us know what you find out so we all can learn..
