Number 3 was the charm :)

Well I finally managed to get to the beach today to take advantage of the minus tides. The first two beaches I looked at did look good at all. A lot of fresh sand and practically flat. But the third beach was another story. There was a hole in the outer sand bar and the waves had eroded a nice big hole in the main beach. I hunted for awhile in boots but the goodies were out in the water and the waves kept going over my boots :( So back to the car for waders. From that point on it was an awesome day of detecting. Practically no trash at all and plenty of coins and jewelry! I ended up hunting a 1/2 block section beach for 4 and a half hours! Here are the pix of today's finds.

It was nice to have a textbook type day that followed the rules :) Meaning one where the the gold had accumulated in the same place as the nickels a quarters :)

All Jewelry

The Silver Chain and Heart on the left are Tiffany and the Stainless Steel Chain on the right had a Silver St. Christopher Medal on it. The Toe Rings and the small earring and Claddagh Ring are silver. The bottom row of jewelry is junk jewelry.

The Gold :)
