Nulling

Any suggestions for hunting an area where the Explorer is in a constant null, even at -8 to -10 iron mask?
I have tried reducing sensitivity down to 5 but still in a null, no threshold tone.
There is indeed, a lot of junk in the ground (I have dug plenty), nails, iron stove parts, bearings and the list could go on.
All this is around a little mountain farm house that probably dates back to the 30's or 40's.
Loads of pull tabs, tin and aluminum cans, srew caps, zinc lids etc.
I don't know if there is any cure for this (constant nulling) in a given area. But, thought I would just throw the question out here to see if there were any suggestions or others who have experienced the same thing.

Open up the discrimination all the way. Go over the site, see where the crosshairs are. This will give you a idea if it

The explorer will Null over iron no matter what the sensitivity, if it is disc'ed out, hunting without a threshold is not a problem, just need to go slower and use less iron mask and sens, but keep the sens above 10.. You can also use a clear screen like Bill said and then you will hear the iron, but you dont need to hunt like that,, if you chosse to go real low like -14 in iron mask I suggest using ferrous tones and just ignore the lowest tones
