nulling

Does the etrac null out like the se pro? I've been wanting a e Trac but that se pro was bad for nulling

I can't speak to the SE (never had one) but the E-Trac will null anytime a discriminated target is seen...

if you have something discriminated out they all will null ... run a wide open screen if you don't want it to never null out

Man,maybe I should have kept my se.but all rhinestones are nuts, can the e Trac be set to only three tones?

Petew, whats the problem?
The eTRAC like mentioned above will null if the target material is discriminated out in the pattern. Don't get no simpler than that!
Why would you want 3 tones? Don't know about the SE but the eTRAC does not support 3 tones and IMO is totally unnecessary.
Try 4 tones better than 3 or go full metal and enable multi tones. A multi tone conductive setting is a silver killer in areas with moderate junk with little iron in the ground.

I think you've been too comfortable with that SE....old habits die hard!!
Trust me, take the time and patience to learn the eTRAC and it'll reward you.

I did and it really helped!

I'm one of the few who loves the 4 tones. It is great with the adjustable modulated audio kinda like a digital CZ set up this way for me.

I tried the multi tone, but for me, its TTF & open screen always. In my mind, to disc out anything is adding the chance to miss a target. I dig the numbers not the tone. Once I got use to hearing "all targets" I feel like i'm missing something in any other setting.
